Michael Catalon's Obituary
On February 20, 1958, Michael was born to Benjamin and Dolores Catalon in Lafayette, Louisiana. He spent his early years in Lafayette before moving to Houston with his family. Michael received his education in HISD by attending Ross Shaw Sterling High School. He attended University of Houston and shortly after, achieved success as a seasoned sales professional. For 25 years, Michael utilized his excellent speaking skills and was awarded a host of professional awards and accolades. Michael was very smart and could give you facts and insight on any subject imaginable.
Michael's greatest passions was watching football (especially BJ's games), making others laugh and joking around with the family and friends. Michael also enjoyed spending time with his favorite "Uncle Peter".
Michael was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Lucille and Theodie Citizen, Laura and Benjamin Catalon Sr. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Hubbard and Charlotte Spencer (Steve), his first wife, Kaye Catalon-Shafer, his current spouse, Claudia Franklin Catalon and their son, Benjamin Catalon III, sons, Anthony Massey (Melissa) and Jonathan Cooper along with his seven grandchildren, Jordan, Desmond, and Erin Massey, Cee Aaron, Justice and Jayden and Landen Cooper and a host of nieces, a nephew, relatives and friends.
