Melba Jernigan Menefee passed away on April 7, 2019. She is the widow of Theophilus Menefee and together they had four children, Theophilus Menefee, Jr, John Menefee (deceased), Bobby Menefee, and Patsy Menefee, Ph.D., five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. . A Public viewing will be at 9 am and followed by a Funeral Service to be held at 10 am on April 13, 2019 at the Mabrie Memorial Mortuary, 5000 Almeda Rd, Houston, TX 77004 . The interment will be immediately following at Houston Memorial Gardens.
