To know Keenar was to love her. Her life was centered around God, Erik and CJ. Her smile lit up the darkest rooms. She had a personality that consumed you, and her sense of humor amused you. If she loved you, you knew it. She was a straight forward, tell it like it is, petty betty who was filled with joy, love, and laughter.
Touching the lives of all she came in contact with, Keenar was truly heaven’s angel on earth who has transitioned home to continue her watch over her two sons, Erik Combs and Carlos Black Jr, her sister Cassandra Hawkins(Wayne), her aunts Essie Brice(preceded Harvey Brice), Marjorie Coleman(Gary), Gloria Smith(Alphonsie), her Uncle Kenneth Pearson; Nieces Jessica Bellard(Scott), and Clarissa Bellard, nephews Brandon Combs, Jylan Bellard, Julian Bellard, and Jaxon Bellard; God Daughters Amber Batiste and Bailey Middleton; God son Jacob Batiste; and a host of other relatives and friends. Her best friendswere Shalonda Middleton and Carlos Black Sr.
Keenar was preceded in death by her parents the late Gene and Clara Combs; her Uncle Charles Roberson, her Aunts Lynette Pearson, Dottie Mae Hollinquest, and Annette Pearson, and her Grandparents Elsie and Rev Calvin Pearson.
