Dear Stafford Family,

Extending my deepest condolences to the family. Our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow. You can take comfort in the words of Jesus when he compared death to sleep and resurrected his friend Lazarus who had been dead for four days. John 11:11-14 thus showing what he can do on a grand scale in the near future for all of those resting in the memorial tombs (God's Psalms 83:18 memory ). Jonn 5:28, 29. We can also look forward to the time when "no resident will say I am sick". Isa. 33:24.
I'd like to offer my sincerest condolences to the Stafford family in this season of transition. I remember Coach Stafford from John Marshall Junior High. He was my basketball coach. One of my fondest memories was that he cared about the student-athletes. I often thought at a young age that the coaches were being tough on us but they only wanted us to be in the best physical condition to compete. The Word of God says that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. He has joined that great cloud of witnesses that are encouraging us to press on. Until that great gettin' up morning when we will cast our crowns at His feet and cry, "Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts! Sleep well Coach!
Coach Stafford will truly be missed, but never forgotten in my heart. He was my basketball coach in 1979-1980 at Marshall Jr High. He loved us all. He coached my uncles and cousins before me so our family have really been touched by him. I'm so glad that I spoke with him over the years. May God comfort his family at this hour.Love you Coach!!
