Laray Johnson

Laray Johnson, I am a classmate of Willard Jarvis Christian College 1961. We traveled to Alabama in 1961 to take a friend home during time of the Freedom riders. Stopped at a service station and was not welcomed but did get service for a flat tire. Willard was attempting to ignore the guys while he fixed the tire but I was concerned. My wife and I left Texas in 1981 and returned in 1999 and I lost contact with Vital. He was a very good friend which I spoke to but did not see each other often. I attempted to get him to come to Jarvis to celebrate our 50th year anniversary but failed. I have some medical problems and will be unable to attend his services. My sympathy goes out to his family and may GOD bless and keep you.
