Mr. Sheldon D'Wayne Conard's Obituary
Sheldon D’Wayne Conard, 33, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Elkhart, Indiana passed away on July 19th, 2025 after a long illness.
Sheldon was born on February 9th, 1992, son of Melody Denise Conard. He attended Elkhart Central High School.
After moving to Texas, Sheldon worked at FedEX, Goodwill and Dollar General.
Sheldon was a very compassionate person and easily made friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and everyone he knew loved him.
He was an amateur digital artist, loved playing his guitars and dancing. He enjoyed PlayStation video games, going to the movies and hanging out with friends. Sheldon loved cooking, listening to “old school R&B” and collected action figures. He loved his dog, Luna.
Sheldon enjoyed watching football and his favorite teams were Notre Dame and the New England Patriots.
Sheldon is survived by his mother Melody; half-sibling Keona (Jerell) Golightly; Nephew Gerard Golightly, Niece Karmyn Golightly, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Sheldon was preceded in death by his grandparents Ludy & Lena Conard, his aunt Laura Shaw.
