Saul has been more like a brother to me than just a Brother-in-Law. Some of my family lives in Houston, and Saul was with us, on each occasion when 2 of my Brothers and one of my Sisters passed; lending a helping hand; making sure we got to where we needed to be when our family came to Houston for their Services.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to the entire family of Saul Washington. I met Saul at the Post office and we ended up worshiping at the same church. I missed seeing him at church, but wasn’t sure of why he no longer attended. In our last conversation, I asked him when would he be joining the male choir? His answer was, “when I’m able to stand up that long.” Well, now he got new legs, nothing to keep him from singing in that heavenly choir. Be encouraged, Saul is in good hands. He turned his back on the cares of this world. God bless each of you:

Mr Washington was all of our dad at Sharpstown High. He always had an open door literally. He let us come to his house and stay and eat and he loved us like his own. He always spoke about GOD. Love you Mr Washington.
