The church family at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church welcomed Ruby into our congregation the latter part of 2014. I remember Ruby as a quiet, gentle soul, sitting with our group in the sanctuary. One Sunday morning Ruby was ready to become part of our church family. I had the honor of walking to the front with her to welcome her into
the church. Later, I was pleased to help her become part of the choir. Though I didn't get to know Ruby better, I will always remember her as a friend in Christ. I am saddened at her passing. May the Lord keep her in His care and grant peace to her family.
