Mr. Robert Elliott Edwards' Obituary
Robert Elliott Edwards, 62, passed away on June 12, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and adventure. Born in Houston, Texas, on April 25, 1963, he was the beloved son of Juanita Edwards and Isaac Brown. Robert attended Worthing Sr. High School, where he actively participated in JROTC, demonstrating his commitment to discipline and leadership.
Robert pursued higher education at Houston Community College, majoring in Logistics Management. His passion for travel and discovering new places led him into a lifelong career in trucking, where he found joy and fulfillment on the open road.
In his youth, Robert was a devoted member of Evangelist Chapel A.M.E. Church, serving as an usher and singing in the youth choir. His faith continued to guide him, and he later attended Grace and Truth Praise and Worship Center.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and two older brothers, Larry Edwards and Kirk Edwards Sr. He is survived by his sister, Debbie Edwards; niece, Marlo Falls (Alexander); nephew, Kirk Edwards Jr. (Charlotte); niece, Charisma Edwards; long-time special friend, Clarissa “KK” Smith; and seven cherished grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
