In Loving Memory of Mr. Robert Earl Carson
The legacy of Mr. Robert Earl Carson began on November 5, 1952, in DeKalb, Texas. He was born to Mr. Eddie Carson Jr. and Mrs. Frankie Collins-Carson. Robert dedicated his life to Christ at an early age at Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he became a devoted servant. He later united with Brentwood Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.
After graduating from high school, Robert attended Texas Southern University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree.
Living life to the fullest, Robert was employed by Southwestern Bell, which later became AT&T;, where he dedicated 35 years of faithful service. Many would describe him as a committed and dependable employee. After retirement, he continued to stay active by driving for Uber, where he enjoyed meeting and chatting with people from all walks of life.
Robert enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, being a Mason, and spending time with family and friends. A man of many talents, he was affectionately known by many names:
Robert Earl, P-40, Uncle, Smokey, C-Money, and more. During his high school years, he rode horses competitively and traveled on weekends as a jockey.
On February 8, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, Mr. Carson peacefully answered the Lord's call home, just as he had requested. He was a man who was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frankie Carson; father, Eddie Carson Jr.; brother, Jimmy Carson; niece, Sylvia House-Frazier; nephew, Sedrick Carson; and bonus son, Anthony Lewis.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Dorothy Helen Carson and Eddie Ruth Carson-Roberts; his sister-in-law, Hazel Carson; and his beloved children: Michael Johnson Carson, LaNeisha Lewis Carson, Renata Tatum Carson, Tasper Thompson Carson, TaShina Lewis Carson, and Jason Cooper Carson.
He Also Leaves his treasured grandchildren: Justin "50-50" Sawyers, Tierney "Skinny Minni" Sawyers, Jordan Jackson, Jaiveon Williams, Takiayh Thompson, Tavion Thompson, JaMarkis Lawrence, Jason Cooper Jr., Logan Cooper, Prince Cooper, and Luna Cooper; as well as a special friend, Rosemary Dora
Mr. Carson also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, friends who will forever cherish his memory
