1926-2016
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 Mr. Lott was born in Gonzales, Texas, May 3, 1926. He peacefully entered into Eternal rest October 15, 2016. The Homegoing Celebration will be Friday, October 21, 2016, 11 AM at Lilly Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 7034 Tierwester St. Visitation will be prior to service beginning at 10 AM. His legacy remains in the hearts of his wife of 64 years, Jennie M Lott; sons, Darrell Lott (Karen) and Willie Christopher Lott; daughters, Denise Gibson, Brenda Henderson and LaWanda Carrigan; sister, Clara Lott; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Michael Gibson, Nate Henderson and Raymond Carrigan and many other dear relatives and friends.
