Ms. Mary Ann Moore's Obituary

Her life will be celebrated Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the Rose Chapel of Mabrie Memorial Mortuary. Visitation will be prior to service beginning at 12:00 P.M.

Mary Ann Moore was a loving mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, and friend who transitioned from this life into Glory on Sunday, September 13, 2020. She was born July 2, 1948 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Mr. Floyd O’Neal and Ms. Ethel Mae Boson. She attended Miller High School and the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. Mary went on to work at the Internal Revenue Service for 20 plus years. She was a faithful servant of Windsor Village United Methodist Church where she sang with the Gospel Company choir for many years.
Mary is preceded in death by her mother and father and her brother, Floyd O’Neal Jr.(“Sunny”). Mary Ann leaves behind to cherish her memories four children: Crystalynn Shelton (Charles) of Grand Prairie, TX, Cynthia O’Neal of Houston, TX, James Moore Jr. of Houston, TX, and Germaine Moore (Ashley) of Houston, TX. sisters; June O’Neal Ellis and Barbara O’Neal Mitchell (Kevin) of San Antonio, TX. Also surviving are her four grandchildren: Jonathan O’Neal, Dante Moore, Taelor Moore and Braylon Moore; and nephew, Tyrique Evans; cousins, Bill Jones Sr. (Patricia), Sam Jones Jr. (Marva), Shirley Jones, and Dorothy Jones; best friends Beatrice Potts, Lillian Brown, Mr. Warren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
