Mrs. Mary Lovenia Alfred's Obituary
1937-2018
Her life was a blessing, her memory is our treasure. She will be missed beyond measure. Our loved one, Mary Lovenia Granger Alfred peacefully entered into Eternal rest on January 9, 2018. She leaves in God’s care her husband of 58 years, Algy Alfred Sr.; daughters, Shylandra Turner (Lawrence), Genelda Alfred (Rhonda) and Adonna Varnado (Lawrence).; son, Algy Alfred Jr. (Jacqueline); brothers, Charles Granger (Gloria) and Peter Ray Granger; sister, Delores Booker (Henry); grandchildren, Jonathan Williams, Lawrence Turner Jr., Aja Varnado, Myles Turner, Quincy Turner, Lawrence Varnado II, Algy Alfred III, Taylor Alfred and Rhianna Harrison. As well as, many dear relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Granger Sr. and Beatrice White Granger and oldest brother Milton Granger Jr.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4600 Reed Road, today, Saturday, January 20, 2018. 10:00 AM Visitation, 8:45 AM-9:55AM The recital of the rosary is scheduled for 9:15 AM.
Interment will be at Houston National Ceme tery (V A), Monday, January 22, 2018, 10:45 AM.
