“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is God’s gift.” Mrs. Louis C. Ray departed this life October 1, 2016. Mrs. Ray will be resting in the Rose Chapel of Mabrie Memorial Mortuary, today, Friday, October 7th from 1-8 PM. Her life will be celebrated Saturday, October 8th, 12:00 PM at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3015 N. MacGregor Way. Her husband, Mr. Troy Ray, Sr. and son, Ronald Harris preceded her in death. In God’s care she leaves her loving and devoted son, Troy Ray, Jr.; daughters, Gloria Valyan, Shirley Ray and Karen Foley; siblings, Vernell Stanley (Otha), Carolyn Smith (Dallas), Minnie Clark, Theartis Carr (Regina), Kenneth Carr (Rene) and grandchildren, Eric, Bishop, Elisha, Jason, Dominique, Tammy, Gilbert Jr., Sheila, Tracy, Mickie, Reginald, Natalie, Reginald, Jr., Ashley, Brenda and many dear relatives and friends.
