I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa at TSU and she was always a cool lady. It’s never easy saying goodbye to someone you expect to see. Homecoming & Sharunda’s parties will never be the same without Lisa. Your memories will live on and you will never be forgotten. Sending my thoughts, love, prayers to the family and friends.
I was fortunate to be Lisa’s friend for the last 13 years. We became especially close when we worked together at Vinson Library for 3 years and were cubicle buddies. Everyday Lisa would knock on the partition, lean back in her chair, smile at me and say, “How’s it going friend?” That is how I will always remember my good friend Lisa, with a smile on her face and telling me how things were full of “malarkey”.
There are so many things that I will miss about Lisa; I was so fortunate that Lisa opened up to me and allowed me to get to know the real her. I am grateful for being able spend as much time as I did with her and she will be in my heart forever.

LiLi, Boo, you are a legend and will be missed!!! It was always S99 and Lisa, so Shaunda is good! She's ours, just as you were ours and we were yours. On the way to the cemetery, I was laughing because you shut the city down!!! You know I exaggerate, so, yes, 288 to Pearland is shutting the city down to ME 😝. There were four motorcycle cops to escort you, a queen, royalty, a living legend to your final resting place. The line was long and I was so tickled because I could see you smirking and dismissing it as no big deal. Hush! Li, you were a big deal and you deserve only the best. Rest on, Queen. I'll miss you but I know we'll meet again in the sweet by and by. Love, Lill.

Lis, what can I say...you were truly a REAL ONE! A heart of gold and a shining star in your own right. Our soror, Laura Horace, said it best: if you granted someone the privilege of accessing your space they were blessed. Thank you for letting me be in that number. I will cherish the memories of hangouts and Delta trips, the laughs and the talks. Thank you for it all my sweet soror. I shall never forget. Love and hugs🥰

Lisa, you will be truly missed and I thank God that He allowed us to cross paths in this life. I know you hated taking pics but you blessed me with one our last Homecoming together that I will always cherish for the rest of my life. Until we see each other again, rest well my Sista, Friend and Soror. I love you😪
