Mr. Lawrence Alvin Hutchins' Obituary
Lawrence Alvin Hutchins ("Hutch"), son of the late Lawrence James Hutchins and Irene Reaux Hutchins, was born August 19, 1943, in Houston, Texas. He was baptized at St Nicholas Catholic Church. After graduating from Worthing High School, he enlisted in the US Navy and served for 4 years. In 1988, Lawrence earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Construction and a Certificate of Construction Technology from San Jacinto College where he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. In addition to his previous employment history in the local refineries (Crown Chemical and Shell Oil), he worked in the Houston Independent School District, Houston Community College System and Kellogg, Brown and Root. He retired from KBR in 2010.
Left to celebrate his memory and celebrate his life are Mother - Irene Hutchins; Sister - Olivia Holdman; Sons - Errol Paxton Monson, Christopher L. Hutchins and Lance D. Hutchins; Nephew - Tory Holdman; Seven Grandchildren; Five Great Grandchildren; his pet - Sandy and many loved ones, relatives and friends.
