Ms. Dudley was one of Nathan’s most endearing early childhood teachers. She literally chased him ( while he chased after a dog or a butterfly) into the pasture behind Jane Long on many occasions, and she encouraged us his parents to “keep the faith” whenever we felt discouraged about Nathan’s behavior and development. Nathan is nearly 40 years old. When I told him of her passing, he remembered her right away saying “she’s my teacher”, and then said “she’s in Heaven right now” ! Our deepest condolences.
