My sincere condolences to The family of Judge Burney . I am sad to hear of her passing. Sharon I worked with your mom at Herman Hospital Clinic building in the 1960’s .She and Ardell Lilly Mock , Margaret Garner, Vivian Toles and I were good friends. You were a little girl and we all knew how much she loved and cared for you. I have been in awe of her as she changed her career and became a phenomenal and successful woman; lawyer, Judge,and community servant. Whenever our paths crossed she was the same genuine person with that beautiful smile. I pray for your comfort and peace . May she rest in peace.

Judge Burney and I met over 30 years ago, which showing compassion as a community advocate and administering equal justice while serving as Justice of the Peace Precinct 7. I will always remember beautiful smile and love of her community. Rest in Heaven my beautiful sister you will surely be missed.
