My condolences to her family. I had the experience of working with her as a clerk when she served on the bench as a judge at Municipal Courts. Very kind and professional. My prayers are with the family.
My wife and I knew her and my wife knew her husband for years before I became a colleague of hers. She accepted my invitation and became a speaker at our children's elementary school for career day. She was a great role model. I accepted her invitation to take a portrait of her, both the official one chosen, and another I took are posted here. I posted her obituary on a traffic court lawyers Facebook page. It is rare we agree on anything; however, a typical comment was : A compassionate and fair judge for Houston".
