WOW! You were more than a teacher to Dunbar's Ebony Class of 1971. You took it upon yourself to move outside the box when we had issues beyond the classroom that we wanted to discuss. Unfortunately, those talks and discussions are what so few kids have the opportunity to engage in with the teachers today. You truly were a part of the Village.

Mr. Booker was my home room teacher and Spanish teacher. He was well liked by all of the students with his friendly disposition and willingness to be a friend. He was an excellent Spanish teacher and I still remember most of what he taught me over 40 years ago. He will be fondly remembered by my classmates, the Ebony Class of 1971. May his soul rest in peace and our prayers are for Mrs. Booker, his daughters and his entire family.
