Joe was funny, loud and boisterous. He LOVED football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. He also loved playing chess.
Our brother was a deep thinker who also delighted in conspiracy theories. But, he also loved the Lord. He was spiritual and could pray just as long and hard as his Mama.
But above all else, Joe loved creating art. He was a phenomenal artist, whose artwork should be displayed in the famous art museums of the world. Joe, there are no words for how you allowed God to use you to express what was in your spirit and in your heart. We are forever grateful for the masterpieces you created not only for us, but also for the whole world to see.
Dear brother, we want you to know that while we hadn’t communicated in years, we thought of you often. Mama, even with dementia, never stopped asking about you. So take your rest now. You are safe in God’s arms. I’m sure heaven has already been delighted with the heavenly artwork you are creating. Until we meet again. You will always be in our hearts.
We love you Joe.
