A letter to my Paw paw,

You first loved God, family, and life. You traveled the highways, and you loved home-cooked meals made from scratch—especially your double-layered yellow cake. You worked hard your whole life, and no matter what, you always wanted me to succeed.

I know it’s time for me to accept that you’re moving on, and I love you. In your 88 years—50 of which I was blessed to share with you—I was always, and will always be, your “Punkin.”

You have fought long and hard to stay on this side, and I’m at peace knowing your with GOD!
