Mrs. Ida Ruth Jones' Obituary
Ida Ruth Jones, 72 of Missouri City, Texas, departed for a heavenly life on Friday, November 3, 2023, after a long health battle.
She was born in Calvert, Texas on September 1, 1951, to Odell and Jletha Johnson. She graduated from Sudan High School and retired from the city of Houston.
Ida is survived by her granddaughter Destiny Jones, sisters Dorothy Saunders and Oletha Garrett, brother Odell Johnson, Jr., stepsisters Ola Fay Sherman, Jenis Watley, Debra Robertson, and Patsy Jennings, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odell Johnson, Sr. and Jletha MclLughlin, sister Clara Johnson, and son Robert Jones.
A memorial service will be held at Mabrie Mortuary Services, 5000 Almeda, Houston, Texas, on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 10 AM. For more information visit www.mabriemortuary.com
