What a beautiful and heart warming service. We are so thankful to have known Hope. Until we meet again beautiful girl. To Hope's family: our family will continue to pray as you grieve. As you know Hope is up there having a glorious time and out of pain.

I only met Hope once at a family reunion in Fort Worth, TX and she was a beautiful young lady, small in statue but she held her own. Her silver hair was a statement to who she was, "an old soul". She was strong and courageous with wisdom beyond her age.
The Celebration of her life that I looked and listened to today was powerful!
To my cousin Carl, Diane, Carla and Johnathan,
We are praying for God to anoint you with his healing power and love. Praying that you will find comfort and peace that only He can give. Hope is now where all of us in Christ longs to be, in the presence of our God forever. From what I have heard today, she was a soldier for Christ and walked in his character of compassion and love for all mankind.
Everyone said that she was different and stood out wherever she was and held her own. As Christians, we should do the same. We are "a peculiar people". Christ "gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." Titus 2:14 KJV We "are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that (we) should show forth the praises of him who has called us out of darkness into his marvelous light".

I visit with Hope at the Mitchell family reunion in Houston, Tx. I got to know Hope and Diane better in an hour or less conversation. She had life unspeakable with such purpose. She had a purpose, plan and she was in persuit of it. What a treasure God gave through Hope. She was a light and did not believe Jesus could be serve in a box. She had a life and she lived it in spite of her condition. To the family, thanks for giving her a memorial service that was deserving of her. Thanks for the live stream. We have commissioned ourselves to pray you through the pain, loneliness and heartaches. In closing always remember to laugh at the good time. With love. Aunt Virgie.
I so love this Beautiful young lady. Her light burned so brightly here and continues to light up the Heavens ever so bright! I'm really going to miss her. I got to be cubicle neighbors with her at Lakewood. She impressed me so much with her wisdom beyond her years, her ability to find laughter in anything and her super strong fighting spirit. I'm 20 years older and we had some great conversations! She always spoke with eloquence. Then, one day I got to see her dance! My goodness.. she was naturally so good! In film, when casting an actor sometimes they are chosen by who draws their eye naturally. In a group of dancers, your eye would always go to Hope very easily. So, I decided to keep an eye on her to see the great things she would get to do. You just know when someone is very special. They don't come along often. She was well on her way. I loved how she led the station in a line dance not long after she got there...lol. Very much like Hope to share her gifts like that with others and in a fun way.
I could go on for a long time about this truly Beautiful person. I'm very grateful I "Got to" meet and know her. It was my true honor and privilege to meet someone like her. God Bless You, sweet friend. Keep your light shining for us and keep on dancing! Can't wait to see you again some day.

My heart, tears, and prayers are with you right now. I will never forget our special times in youth group: the dances, the drama team, the outings, all the special moments shared with each if you that made growing up so much fun. I love Hope and I am thankful for her life.

We have no words to express our sadness. Diane and Carl came into our lives right after our Johnny was born in late 1987 and Hope was born in 1988! Diane has been a continues prayer partner to us for all these years. When we were at our lowest she would always call and say, “whats wrong”? “I am praying for you”!! Sometimes we go months without speaking or seeing each other, but can always pick right up where we left off. The Adams family is forever grateful for the Carters. We grieve with you, but we all know that she is free! Shes in our future. It won’t be long. We will see her soon! Love you all real deep!

I've never lost in life anyone that I was close to, so I can only think of my "family" who has wholeheartedly supported me contiuously throughout this time. To my confidante, Momma Carter....I've known you for almost my entire career life...dating back to the memories of meeting you with Mrs. Judy when I was her apprentice.....I can't begin to tell you what an honor it has been to have you in my life....my friend.....someone who listens to me, and gives great advice when I'm in doubt.....and for you I believe I'mthe same......with such a gentle and humble soul.....I love you dearly. To my sister Carla....I genuinely appreciate having had you to be one of the many people that have allowed me to be myself....through love and creativity.....though we don't speak often...you always have a special place in my life. To Papa Carter.....I've only met you maybe 2 times....but you are a great man to have known what a wonderful wife you have and made her the same. And for the brother I never knew......you are, and always have been an influence for the women in your life....know it or not....I do! I pray for the strength in all of you during this time of gaining a permanent angel. Hope has always inspired me, and motivated me go for it.....and to be who I am with her grace, and spunk! We are one in a kind. To my "little sister"....it is a blessing to have encountered your dear spirit...and to know that all things are possible. I'm only sad because I didn't think you would leave so soon......so young and beautiful. I thank God that I was able to have any parts of your course...your being.....your love. It's amazing how situations will change a person, and from this day forward I will never be the same. Love you all forever......
