So sorry to hear of her passing. My husband and I met her at the senior center. I stayed in touch with her during COVID since the closing of the center. Then one day I texted her and never heard back. Today I found out of her passing. May you rest in peace.
I am grateful for the memories of being in the company of Ms Gretchel Taylor on many Pflugerville trips with the Seniors Activity center. Or seeing Ms Taylor shopping in the store. My sorrow for the loss of Ms Gretchel Taylor

We were deeply saddened to hear about the death of Sister Gretchel Taylor. It was a shock to all of us!
I think that the loss of one’s sister (a family member) is by far the saddest event of anyone’s lifetime. There is just no other loss that measures up to this one. But knowing your sister as we did, we know that she would not want us sitting around grieving, but rather celebrating the wonderful life she led. I’m sure she had little or no regrets in living the full and successful life that she did.

Sister Taylor was truly a blessing to be around. We enjoyed many laughs together. She would always tell me you can do it sister Emery. She would brighten up the room with her smile. She always had a kind word for everyone she came in contact with. I am thankful to have known sister Taylor. I am grateful for the memories.

This is very difficult to write. I’m still in shock and I am grieving the loss of our beloved Sis. Gretchel Taylor. I met her at a very dark time in my life. She gave me encouragement, brought love and laughter into my life, and became a true friend. I will miss the warmth of her hugs, her boisterous laughter and her sweet loving spirit. Mourning her is bittersweet because we truly lost a gem. However, I will strive to celebrate the life that she lived and honor her legacy by moving forward despite this devastating loss. What a Precious Friend! We called her G..T.! G.T., opened her home to my daughter for four years, and that’s when our friendship began. She became a part of our family and truly a blessing to me and my four children! Her smile and laughter filled ANY room. Whenever I visited Austin, we enjoyed HIS PRESENCE, food, fellowship and fun! I am SO SO grateful unto God for allowing us to cross paths!
