Mr. George Lee Broner Jr.'s Obituary
George Lee Borner Jr. was born in Jasper, Texas to Fannie Alice Sells and George Lee Borner Sr. on December 8, 1949. He attended J.H. Rowe Highschool and graduated in the Class of 1968. He graduated from Prairie View A & M in 1972 with a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology.
George married Eldora Adams and to this union a daughter was born, Sonya Borner.
He later married LouCindy Chambers with whom he shared several grand and great grand kids.
George worked at Reed Tool Company for several years before retiring. He loved fishing and playing dominoes and spending time with his classmates from J.H. Rowe. They are a tight knit group of guys that are the Epitome of “Ride or Die”.
George had a larger than life personally. When he entered a room he made sure everyone knew he was there, with a loud bark or howl. He was affectionally known as “Hungry Jack.”
George leaves behind his daughter, Sonya Rice (Kevin Rice), two granddaughters, Kalen Rice and Kamryn Rice; Two siblings, DeWanna Cauley and Maggie Johnson and a host of other relatives, friends and colleagues to cherish his memory.
