I will miss you Emma. You was always there for me. You not only heard what I needed but you would further ask questions to ensure I was doing the right thing for my health. I will never forget your driving to my house to take me to therapy. I felt so bad that because of my scalp situation I could not assist you. When I checked on you you would aways say I am doing fine and I know now you were not always feeling your best. I love and I will be praying for your daughters and family. I had another funeral on the day of yours but I did come to see you and sign the book. I will see you in Heaven some day.

Sis Emma Patterson was a jewel.
It was a treasure and pleasure knowing her and serving with her in the Health and Wellness Ministry of The Fort Bend Church. Sister Emma cared for all the members. I am thankful for her prayers for my daughter and myself. Her presence was always heartwarming and inviting. Her style always inspiring. I bless the Lord for the many years she was loaned to us on this earth. Now Sis Emma, Rest in the Lord, Rejoice in the endless morning of Heaven, and Receive your Reward.

Our last outing together was Delta’s citywide Founders Day before the pandemic. We had a great time together. She had a wonderful personality. I’m going to miss you Soror, until we meet again!!🔺
