To the family of Queen Elsie Whitmire, this is Yasmin Brown. I met Queen Elsie in early 2020 at an NWOA meeting and she and I immediately clicked and became friends, not just Achievers.
I loved her so much and will miss her terribly. But this I believe, she is resting in the arms of our Lord.
Offering my sincere condolences, prayers and love to each of you.
She was such a dear friend...one of the kindest and personable ladies I knew. My husband, Dr. David Brown and I will miss her. My daughter, Elicia, who had the pleasure of meeting her during the Christmas season 2021, sends her warm condolences as well. They had a grand time together at one of our chapter events. She met my granddaughter, and my son on separate occasions. Her personality was always positive and her smile was contagious!
Blessings to you all. Keep the faith, and always remain close. She would like that, I believe.
To the family of Elsie O. Marshall Whitmire, we remember, love and respect her for the fun memories made with us as children growing up at Greater Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church. May she rest in peace. The Strawder and Washington families
My dear Sister Friend, you are already missed! Thank you for reconnecting so completely with me a few years ago! I always enjoyed our numerous “8 seconds” solving the problems of the world! Sincerely, Sandra Strawder Matthews
