Mr. Henderson was a wonderful musician and even better person. His friendly smile and kind words always lifted the spirits of students and staff alike at Red Elementary.
A great musician. Even as a youngster, he could make a Hammond organ talk. Rest in peace Edgar, as you take your place in that Heavenly choir.

I was a student at Red Elementary where I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Henderson. He was not just another teacher, he was my mentor. There are no words to describe the sorrow I felt on finding out about Mr.Henderson’s passing. His generous, kind caring spirit and warmth was clear to everyone who came across him. He will be forever missed But never forgotten. I hope we can all find the strength and love in friends and family to face the tough days ahead. I couldn’t be any more thankful to have had the opportunity to have known Mr.Henderson. I will forever look up to him and thank him for the teachings he bestowed on me.

Mr.Henderson, was the light of my years at red elementary. Mr.Henderson will forever be held close to my heart, he was a man of many wonders, specifically music. He had a way of shining a light to every situation. He sparked my love for music, I still remember his smile behind the piano working with red elementary’s choir. He’s gone from my sight but never will he be gone from my heart.
Wishing the Henderson family and friends, a peaceful recovery from their loss. I am happy to have been one of Mr.Henderson students.
