Mr. Earnest Eugene Ferrell's Obituary
Earnest Eugene Ferrell passed from this life on March 22, 2022 at West Houston Medical Center. He was born on May 26, 1951, in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Claude Edward Ferrell Sr. and Annie Ruth Ferrell. Earnest was one of eight children. He graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1969 and enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served for 6 years. After completing his service, he moved to Chicago, Illinois where he worked for US Steel for several years prior to moving to Houston, Texas.
Earnest was preceded in death by both parents, two sisters, Cassie and Linda and one brother Bryant. He leaves to mourn four children, Cornelius “Jack” Sample (Carlisa) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Sasha Ferrell, Marylin Ferrell, and Franklin Beechem all of Houston, Texas; four siblings, Claude Ferrell Jr. (Claudette) of Houston, Texas, Allen Ferrell Sr. of Chicago, Illinois, Dickie Ray Ferrell of Dallas, Texas, and Vickie Ferrell of Chicago, Illinois; three granddaughters (Sydney Sample, Avery Sample and Zoe Manning); and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
