What an amazing and remarkable woman! A life well lived. There is not enough space here nor enough words to express the beauty of grandma Dot and what she has meant to me and so many others. 33 years ago grandma Dot welcomed me into her heart, into her home and into her family. She was intricately involved in raising our two sons, as she was the person the village brought their kids to for safe keeping and raising, not baby sitting. From time to time my sons,(her great grandsons) and I talk about the life lessons learned and the genuine love we all received from grandma Dot. It was a feisty kind of love that corrected you when you were wrong but fought for you if you were wronged. She spoke valuable truths learned from the school of life. Every word was a gem and if you missed it, she was sure to repeat the lesson for you. God had her here for a purpose and she fulfilled that mission in each life that was privileged to meet her. Grandma Dot will be missed as she was a Blessing to countless persons in her corner of the world. To a life well lived and a rest well deserved.
