From Bernard, ... Donald Jones, was more of a brother to me. He lived to see two great things. First, a Black man become President of the United States of America. Second, Donald lived to see God's 400 year prophesy ( Genesis 15th Chapter - 13th, 14th, and 15th verses >>> adding 400 years to the year 1619, the year our ancestors were brought here to the United States, you get the year 2019 ). His billion dollar smile expressed the billion dollar kindness in his heart To see Donald grow from "man child" to man, was a blessing to see. Now, my cousin, Donald Jones, our ancestors will show you the rest of the way! And, so it is. I remain, Bernard Crockett, son of Melvin D. Crockett ,Sr. and Dorothy Sue Crockett.
To the Family of our Amputee Brother. We will miss him dearly. Donald was a joy to have in our group. Everyone enjoyed seeing him ride through on his red scooter and his music playing on his way to the meeting. Always a kind word and spoke to everyone at the meeting as well as everyone in the lobby of the medical bldg. We will miss Donald by we rejoice in knowing that he is at rest now awaiting that great judgement morning.. Family, be strong and take courage in knowing that GOD KNOWS ALL and is right waiting on you to call HIM. HE hears your cries.
