Piggy never met a stranger. She was loyal, loving, steady, and the definition of a true girl’s girl. If she called you family, she meant it with her whole heart. She was more than my friend — she was my sister in every way that mattered.
For my birthday this year, she convinced me to get matching sister tattoos. Mine says, “You’ll always be a part of me,” and hers says, “I’m a part of you indefinitely.” I never imagined how much those words would come to mean, but I’m forever grateful we shared that moment together.
