Dr. Wilson was more than a professor. He really had a connection with his students and was determined to alter our perspectives and challenge our beliefs and thinking. I enjoyed going to his classes, we always had a great time! What other professor do you know that takes college students on field trips? No more suffering. You will be so missed!!! Ase, until we meet again 🕊️️
I was blessed to have experienced Dr. Wilson from my Freshman year in 2015 all the way up to recently. I was a girl from Alabama that had no idea who I was, what my purpose was, nor who I wanted to be. Dr. Wilson directly influenced my life in more ways than one. He poured into us. He believed in us. He fought for us. I never knew what a true mentor was until we crossed paths. Even when u got off path at times, he never started from his purpose. A commendable man to say the least. I can remember countless times where I didn’t have a sitter and he would hold my child while I took tests and went to class. Thank you Dr. Wilson. I truly don’t know where I’d be without you.
