A TRIBUTE to a fine person that lived a life that served as an example for those who follow can use as a model for those who follow. My condolence to all of the family.

The sisters of Joe Louis Anderson, Maple Anderson, Marion Anderson, Janet Smith, and
Dr. Jeanette Stewart, the remaining children of the late Mr. and Mrs. B.D. Anderson, Sr, express our profound sorrow at the loss of Dr. Charles K. Speller.
He was a dear friend to Joe Louis Anderson and us. On some occasions, while visiting Joe, Dr. Speller would be present. We could tell there was evidence of a supportive friendship, and family unity. He was like family to us. We are so sorry and will miss him sorely as a brother and a family friend.
We will miss his quiet, friendly gesture of hope, help, and healing. We recall his giving expert advice on how we may stay healthy. There are many occasions that we think of as we remember his expression of good nature and humor.
Dr. Speller, you are missed. But we know you are with God. May your soul rest in peace. We love you as a man of faith and a brother.

Thank you for the opportunity to celebrate his life and home going with you via the Mortuary's weblink.
Virginia, Christopher and Derrick:
We share your grief in the homegoing of CK. He has been an integral part of the family for a long as I can remember. He is like a brother to most of us because he was always there. Your loss is ours as well. But we know that God has never made a mistake, He gave and He has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord. And we know for those who love the Lord, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Allow God to be your refuge and strength.
