Carla Jones was a good friend in high school. She had many words of wisdom and of course she always had a beautiful smile. She will be dearly missed. My prayers are with the family and may God comfort you during this time.

I have known Carla since my 1st day in Junior High School and then on to Madison High. She was a friend of my big Sister. Whenever she called our home...and if I answered...CJ would say...where's your Sister? You see I was ...the kid Sis attempting to be in older folks business. Forty-four years ago when I met you my beautiful friend - never would I imagine we’d be saying goodbye so soon. Carla, I’ll never forget your beautiful spirit and how you loved so fiercely. Your appreciation for things of beauty was unrivaled - be it a simple rose or a pair of Louboutins, you recognized quality. Your feisty personality was only outmatched by your caring nature. I could always count on you to hand it to me straight no chaser! I am so thankful for your friendship and for you sharing your amazing friends and family with me. We have all been truly blessed by having your presence in our lives and will miss you greatly. Rest in love Queen.

There will never be another Carla Jones Anderson. I remember when I first her by way of Mrs. Carolyn Lee Conner along with her Mother Beloved Thelma Green Jones. They were two head strong women and forces to be reckoned with! Throughout the years, we became Sister and Brother! I would always like to push her buttons which ultimately led her to reply using unpublished words. I’m going to miss her physical presence. She will always be with me spiritually!
