Mrs. Bessie Elizabeth Moore's Obituary
Our mother kept a garden
A garden of the heart.
She planted all the good things, that gave our lives their start.
She turned us to the sunshine, and encouraged us to dream,
fostering and nurturing the seeds of self-esteem.
And when the winds and the rain came,
she protected us enough, but not too much because she knew
we would stand up strong and tough.
Her constant good example, always taught us right from wrong,
markers for our pathway that will last a life time long.
We are our mother's garden, we are her legacy.
Our loving mother and grandmother, Bessie Elizabeth Moore peacefully entered into eternal rest, August 27, 2022.
She leaves in God's care and cherishing many fond memories, her daughters and sons, Donna David (Gregory), Lonell Moore (Brenda), Vernell Moore Sr (Theresa), Darlene Moore, Darryl Moore (Pamela), Kelvin Moore (Maria) and Tammy Scott (Patrick); her brother, Ollie Bell; 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and many dear relatives and friends.
Her husband, Donnie Lee Moore and daughter, Rita Mae Armstrong preceded her in death.
