I first remember seeing Cousin Bea at the home of my grandparents when I was quite young. She was very vibrant, and had the most beautiful smile! She would visit my mother on occasion, and they loved to talk about their birthplace - Jeanerette, LA. Her daughter Carolyn brought her to my home about two years ago to visit with me and my mother, it was a delight to see the two of them together again once more.

I first met her in my twenties at her home .She greeted me with love and acceptance.Mom-B made me feel that I was always welcome,as if I was a returning daughter she had not seen in many years.When she learned I was an artist, Mom-B commissioned me to make a wall hanging.At that time I was in economic distress.Mom-B became my light and angle leading me out of distress;I will forever be grateful!
