Mrs. Barbara Williams Richards' Obituary
Barbara Williams Richards, native Houstonian, expired on July 31, 2024. She was 92 years old. A retired Houston Independent School District schoolteacher. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and Houston Retired Teachers Association.
Mrs. Richards is survived by her two daughters, Deahnna L. Smith of Conyers, Georgia and Terri A. Knakal of New York, New York. One grandson, Stephen F. Smith, two sisters, Linda Williams (Stephen) and Deborah Sy (Albert). Two brothers, Larry Williams and Reginald Williams. She is also survived by three nieces, one nephew and many other relatives and friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at St. Mary of the Purification Catholic Church, 3006 Rosedale St, Houston, TX 77004.
