1954-2017
A special person remembered and a beautiful life honored. Asha Afiya Zawadi entered into Eternal rest July 8, 2017. The Celebration of Life Service will be held 6 PM, Friday, July 14th at Shrine of the Black Madonna, 5309 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Left with fond memories are her spouse, Yolanda Whittington, siblings, Paula Whitmire, Herman Whitmire and Herbert Whitmire and many other dear relatives and friends.
Her parents Frank Ellis and Cleo Patra Ellis preceded her in death.
