In the spirit of Christian joy we will celebrate our mother’s life at 12:00 PM Wednesday, April 9th at Hill Zion Baptist Church, 8317 Curry Rd.
Visitation will be today, Tuesday, April 8th, from 1:00-8:00 PM in the Rose Chapel of Mabrie Memorial Mortuary.
She leaves to cherish her memories and continue her legacy daughters and sons: Georgia Garner (Henry), John Harris (Gwendolyn), Leonard Harris (Deborah), Clayborne Harris (Cynthia), Landa Harris, and Lanavett Ray; 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; the Giddings and Tennard/Dixon families to whom she became a very “Special Granny” and a host of other relatives and friends.
Her daughter, Leota “Patsy” Morris preceded her in death.
