“Bittersweet to say, but Mabrie Memorial Mortuary is the only Mortuary I would use for my Loved Ones. They are professional and compassionate in all the right ways that matter when going through such a difficult time. I have used Mabrie for multiple occasions with different family members both male and female and each time I received the same above and beyond service to make sure the process of sending them to a beautiful peaceful rest is done with grace. All boxes are checked and I am at peace. Thank you, thank you, and thank yoy again Mabrie. You all are appreciated and definitely GOD SENT.”

I would like to thank the entire staff at Mabrie Memorial Mortuary for all they did as we mourned the lost of my mother Marcelle Thompson Prevost.They were there every step of the way and fulfilled my needs beyond my expectations.They provided phenomenal service throughout the entire process with the upmost professionalism, dignity and compassion. “My father unexpectedly passed away in March. I flew into Houston from Oakland with only a few days to figure out arrangements in a city that I was unfamiliar with. Even though my family is from Indiana, my father lived in Houston for over 30 years; therefore, it was important to me that we find a funeral home that would help us feel connected to the city my father loved. When I say that Justin was a saving grace, I mean it. I spoke to two other funeral homes before speaking with Justin and knew immediately that Mabrie Memorial Mortuary was the one I wanted to work with. He was thorough in his explanations and patient with my questions. The moment we stepped into the building, I knew we had made the right choice. Justin is a true professional with the warmth and kindness to make even the paperwork feel manageable. The walls of Mabrie Memorial are filled with incredible Black local art and news stories of the Mabrie family legacy in Houston. I left knowing my dad was in the right place.
