Never in a million years would I have ever imagined (if I had to) that Michael, would be leaving us so soon… my heart is shattered 💔
One serious fact about Michael concerning all of “his family” … no matter how they generated; he loved all of them!!! Mike, is a strong Believer and man of Faith. But on earth, Mike loved and adored his wife, Dawn, daughter Joi and son, Christian Michael… they were his WHOLE HEART as he often spoke fondly of his admiration not only for his immediate family. But Michael loved and cherished his mother in law and father in law as he did for his own parents. Even though Mike was the youngest of the four children, he loved and respected each of his siblings on individual levels as each one instilled valuable nuggets and qualities that helped mold and shape him into the man he became. But on the flip side of things, young Mike left his older brother and sisters proud of him and utterly amazed not only because of his brilliance, accomplishments and success but mostly because he was a great human being and an incredibly awesome brother who loved helping others. But also, that’s exactly how Mike viewed, admired and respected each of his siblings.
I loved Mike as a classmate, an awesome friend and a
brother from another mother.
My deep acquaintances with his entire family, starting with an his mother and father long before I ever knew they were Mike’s parents, made our friendship that much special. As years passed, spending time with Dawn, Helen, Justus Jr. and Patricia were “Priceless Moments” because Mike was always a portion of our conversations. I am selfishly questioning, why does the good have to go so young. But that’s a question I can ask God when we see Him. Meanwhile, I take confidence and great pleasure in knowing and believing that I will see you again Michael, on that great day when we all will meet up with the Lord.
In my heart, as stated to Mike before… he will always be “An Officer and a Gentleman.”
Until then, Rest in Eternal Peace Mike.
